Product Information

Will my flowers include a vase?

Vase or pot inclusion varies by product. Review the item description which clearly specifies whether the displayed vase or pot is included with your selection.

What are your flowers and plants made from?

Our flowers and plants utilize varied production techniques. Handcrafted pieces involve individual petal curling, hand-painting, and intricate assembly. All artificial flowers are handcrafted using premium materials selected for natural appearance. Products utilize polyester and silk and treated foam for optimal shape retention.

How do you make your flowers so realistic?

Each flower is handcrafted and some hand-painted, creating natural variations that mirror nature. Meticulous attention extends to stems, incorporating realistic details such as thorns and leaf texturing to achieve authentic appearance throughout the entire piece.

How long will my flowers and plants last?

Artificial flowers require minimal maintenance for lasting beauty. Monthly dusting with a cool hairdryer setting prevents accumulation, particularly important for lighter colours. Address stains with damp cloth cleaning and avoid direct sunlight exposure to prevent potential colour fading over time.

Do you sell vases and pots?

Yes, vases and pots are available. Browse our curated selection in the shop section of our website. Or visit our studio for a wider range.

What's the best vase style for my flowers?

Wide-base, narrow-neck vases provide optimal display for artificial flowers. Ideal vase height positions the lowest stems just above the rim. Stems can be bent or trimmed to achieve perfect proportional fit with your chosen vessel.

Do you sell flowers with water illusion?

No, water illusion products are not offered. These materials discolour over time, complicate vase cleaning, and accumulate surface dust, ultimately compromising the realistic appearance we prioritize in our arrangements.

How many flowers do I need for my space?

Flower quantity depends on desired arrangement density and personal aesthetic preference. For minimal displays, style stems in odd numbers. Reference our listed stem heights and flower head dimensions to ensure proper proportional matching with your chosen vase.

Why choose our flowers over fresh ones?

Artificial flowers offer permanent beauty with minimal maintenance requirements and allergen-free benefits. Advanced technology ensures increasingly realistic appearance, providing lasting value without the limitations of fresh flower care and replacement.

Are our flowers allergy-friendly?

Yes, artificial flowers eliminate pollen-related allergies including hay fever and are completely pet-safe for household environments.

Can our flowers be used for weddings and events?

Yes, artificial flowers are excellent for weddings and events. They eliminate concerns about wilting and allergic reactions while providing realistic appearance, making them an increasingly popular alternative to fresh arrangements. They have the added bonus that you can then gift them on as thank you presents and they last forever.

How do I choose the right vase size and shape?

Select vases using proportional guidelines: vase height should measure approximately 1.5 times flower height. Match vase shape to arrangement style, tall, straight vessels suit long-stemmed displays while rounded forms complement compact arrangements.

How can I approach arranging my flowers?

The beauty of artificial flowers is how easily you can create arrangements that perfectly suit your space. Start by laying out all your stems so you can see your full collection with fresh eyes, then build your arrangement by placing your largest flowers first as anchor points. Add medium blooms and foliage around them, varying heights and turning flowers at different angles. Mix textures and colors thoughtfully, roses with eucalyptus, wildflowers with bold blooms and don't feel you need to use every stem in one arrangement. Step back regularly to check from different angles and trust your instincts. Sometimes fewer, well chosen stems create more impact than using everything together, and the goal is simply creating something that makes you smile every time you see it.

How do I choose between different plant styles?

Choosing the right plant style starts with understanding your space and the atmosphere you want to create. Consider your room's aesthetic, sleek spaces suit architectural plants with clean lines, while cozy rooms call for softer, fuller options like ferns or trailing ivy. Think about function too: large statement plants fill corners and create focal points, while smaller varieties add gentle texture to shelves. Consider your lifestyle and comfort with visual drama, bold plants make strong statements but can dominate smaller spaces, while flowing varieties blend subtly into existing décor. Remember that plants with many small leaves need more dusting than broad-leafed varieties. The best choice feels natural in your space and makes you smile.

Can I find your complete online selection available in-store?

Yes, our complete online collection is available in-store alongside a larger, more versatile selection of exclusive pieces not featured on the website.

Styling

Styling Flowers

Before you begin arranging, spend time preparing each stem. Trim them to varying heights, nature never creates uniform lengths. Gently bend and shape the stems individually, since real flowers naturally curve and lean rather than standing rigidly straight. Adjust their positioning to look more organic. If your stems have been stored, give them a gentle dust or clean to restore their fresh appearance.

Begin with your statement flowers, these become your focal points. Then fill in with supporting stems, varying textures and colors rather than trying to match everything perfectly. Use odd numbers when grouping similar flowers; three or five stems of the same type look more natural than pairs. Layer different heights throughout the arrangement and let some stems cross naturally, this creates the organic flow that makes arrangements feel alive.

Your vase plays a crucial role in the final effect. Ensure your proportions work, as a general rule, your tallest stems should be about 1.5 times the height of your vase.
The secret to realistic arrangements lies in natural imperfections. Let some stems droop slightly, turn flowers at different angles, and mix bud stages with full blooms when possible.

Don't make all stems the same height, face flowers in the same direction, or overcrowd your arrangement. Also consider your room's lighting and the various angles people will view your arrangement from, what looks perfect from one side might look flat from another.

Styling Plants

Artificial plants can look absolutely stunning when styled thoughtfully. The secret is understanding how real plants behave and replicating those natural characteristics in your arrangements.

Consider where real versions of your chosen plants would naturally thrive. Place tropical varieties like palms and philodendrons in brighter areas, while positioning ferns and snake plants in spots that suggest lower light tolerance. This logical placement immediately makes your styling feel more authentic and intentional.

Cluster different varieties together, mixing heights, textures, and leaf shapes for visual interest. Combine upright plants with trailing varieties, and add smaller accent plants around larger specimens to create natural-looking plant families.

Real plants aren't perfect, so yours shouldn't be either. Gently bend stems and leaves to create natural movement. Turn plants at different angles, let some leaves droop slightly, and ensure not every stem is perfectly positioned. If your plant looks too symmetrical, redistribute the foliage for a more organic appearance.

Study how your chosen plant varieties naturally grow. Succulents tend to be compact and architectural, while tropical plants often have dramatic, flowing leaves. Trailing plants should cascade naturally, not hang in perfect, even curtains. Adjust your styling to match these natural characteristics.
Create visual depth by positioning plants at varying levels. Use plant stands, stack books under pots, or hang plants at different heights to mimic how plants naturally compete for light and space. This layering makes your displays feel more dynamic and garden-like.

Avoid placing all plants at the same height or in a rigid line. Resist the urge to over-arrange, sometimes slightly messy looks more authentic.

Styling Trees

The key to styling artificial trees is understanding that placement, proportion, and thoughtful finishing touches transform an obvious fake into a stunning design feature.

Think about sight lines and natural light patterns when positioning your tree. Place it where a real tree might naturally thrive, near windows, in corners that need softening, or as a focal point in open spaces. Consider the tree from multiple angles since people will view it from different positions throughout the room. Avoid placing it directly under harsh overhead lighting that might highlight artificial elements.

Your tree should feel appropriate for the space, not overwhelming smaller rooms or getting lost in vast areas. As a general guide, ceiling height matters more than floor space. In standard 8-10 foot rooms, trees between 5-7 feet work beautifully. For higher ceilings, you can go taller or cluster multiple trees at varying heights for dramatic effect.

This is where many arrangements fail. Choose planters that feel substantial enough for your tree's size, a tiny pot under a large tree looks obviously artificial. If using decorative planters, ensure they complement rather than compete with your tree. Cover any visible foam or artificial soil with natural elements like moss, decorative stones, or bark chips. For floor-standing trees, consider slightly sinking the pot into a larger decorative pot for a more built-in appearance.

Real trees aren't perfect, so yours shouldn't be either. Gently bend and adjust branches to create natural movement and asymmetry. If your tree has sparse areas, redistribute branches. Consider the natural growth patterns of the tree type you're replicating, palms grow differently than ficuses.

Styling Foliage Branches

Artificial foliage offers incredible versatility for creating lush, green environments without maintenance. The key is understanding how to layer, position, and combine different varieties for maximum impact.

Different foliage serves different styling functions. Use large-leafed varieties like Magnolia as statement pieces and focal points. Medium foliage like eucalyptus works beautifully for filling gaps and creating texture. Smaller, delicate foliage such as Bucida adds fine detail and softness to arrangements.

Real gardens never feature single varieties, so build depth with multiple foliage types. Start with your largest, most dramatic pieces as anchors, then layer in medium-sized varieties for body and texture. This layering creates the visual complexity that makes arrangements feel authentic.

Real foliage moves and flows naturally, so avoid arrangements that look too static or perfectly positioned. Gently bend stems to create curves and natural angles. Let trailing varieties cascade organically rather than hanging in perfect, even patterns. Overlap different varieties so they appear to grow together naturally.

Consider how your foliage arrangements look from multiple viewing angles. Position pieces so the most attractive sides face the primary sight lines, but ensure arrangements look intentional from secondary angles too. Avoid flat, one-dimensional styling that only works from a single viewpoint.

While artificial foliage doesn't change seasonally, you can adjust styling to feel appropriate for different times of year. Add berry branches or darker foliage for autumn feels, incorporate silvery eucalyptus for winter elegance, or emphasize fresh greens and flowering elements for spring energy.

Don't make all stems the same length or position everything symmetrically. Avoid using only one type of foliage, variety creates authenticity. Resist over-arranging; sometimes a slightly wild, organic look feels more natural than perfect positioning.
